Collections from Boca Raton & Delray Beach
The southern edge of Palm Beach County and the densest concentration of seasonal residents we serve. May and October here are booked out weeks ahead, because half the county is closing or opening a house in the same fortnight.

How this route runs
The drive
- Time each way
- 35–55 min
- Road
- I-95 north
- Destination
- 3562 N Ocean Blvd, Fort Lauderdale — Galt Ocean Mile
- Stops en route
- None. The vehicle is not left unattended at any point.
Before the day
- Tell us roughly what is moving. A list helps; it is not required to book.
- For a building, we need the management contact — most want a certificate of insurance filed in advance.
- For a gated community, arrange the gate authorization. A vehicle turned away wastes the morning.
- For an estate, have the documented authority to hand before we arrive.
- Allow time for the inventory. It is the part that protects you and the part people rush.
Conditions
What the drive from Boca Raton & Delray Beach is actually like
North on I-95 across the Palm Beach County line. A simple drive with one seasonal caveat: from roughly January to April the corridor carries substantially more traffic and timing widens accordingly. We plan the same run differently in February than in August, which is worth saying because clients are often surprised by the difference.
Access
Arriving in Boca Raton & Delray Beach
A mix of oceanfront condominium with managed loading, and gated country club communities inland. The condominiums follow the coastal pattern — certificate, booked bay, restricted hours. The country clubs behave like Weston, with guardhouse authorization required in advance and occasional restrictions on service vehicles. Knowing which of the two you are before booking changes what we need from you.

Safe Deposit Box Contents
The bank has no record of what is in your box, and that gap is the whole problem when it moves.

Bullion & Coin
A bar carries no serial number a jury would care about, so the count made at collection is the only record.

Fine Art & Antiques
Art is rarely stolen in transit. It is damaged, and undated damage is the argument nobody wins later.

Jewelry & Watches
Small, portable, easy to sell, and usually already known about by someone. Discretion matters more here than anywhere.

Legal Documents & Originals
A scan of a will is worth nothing. When the paper is the asset, ambiguity about it is the real risk.

Data Tapes & Drives
A rotation that depends on somebody remembering a tape on Friday fails quietly, until the week you need a restore.

Common questions
- How long is the drive from Boca Raton & Delray Beach?
- 35–55 min each way, via I-95 north, before season traffic. We quote the honest figure rather than the optimistic one, because the schedule for the day depends on it.
- How far ahead should we book?
- A week is comfortable for most collections. May and October fill up across the whole of South Florida, and a building with a bookable loading dock will usually need more notice than a house.
- Does the property travel with anyone else's?
- No. Your load is not consolidated with another client's, and there are no other collections on the same run.
- Can we follow the vehicle?
- Yes. Clients regularly drive down behind us and watch the property go into the vault. Nobody has ever been told no.
- Do you charge by distance?
- Distance is part of it, along with the size of the load and how long the collection itself takes. You get a figure before the day, not after.

Pompano Beach & Lighthouse Point
Canal-front houses with long-tenured owners and, in Pompano, a wave of newer oceanfront towers. The mix means we see both ends of the job here — decades-old unsorted collections, and relocation sales out of buildings finished last year.

55–85 min
Palm Beach & West Palm Beach
The island is reached by three bridges and has its own rules about commercial vehicles, hours and where you may stop. Palm Beach also holds the highest concentration of properly catalogued private art in the state, which makes collections here faster — the condition reports usually already exist.

Wellington
The equestrian season runs January to April and the town roughly doubles, then empties. That calendar drives everything here: collections cluster hard in April and May as seasonal barns and houses close, and the roads around the showgrounds are genuinely impassable on a competition weekend.
