Collections from Fort Lauderdale
The vault is here, on the Galt Ocean Mile, so a Fort Lauderdale collection has the shortest possible chain of custody — one vehicle, one drive, no interim stop. For Las Olas and the Isles, the drawbridge schedule is a genuine factor and we plan around it.
Tell us what, from where, and roughly when. No obligation, and no inventory list needed to start the conversation.

How this route runs
The drive
- Time each way
- 10–25 min
- Road
- A1A or Federal
- Destination
- 3562 N. Ocean Blvd., Fort Lauderdale — Galt Ocean Mile
- Stops en route
- None. The vehicle is not left unattended at any point.
Before the day
- Tell us roughly what is moving. A list helps; it is not required to book.
- For a building, we need the management contact — most want a certificate of insurance filed in advance.
- For a gated community, arrange the gate authorisation. A vehicle turned away wastes the morning.
- For an estate, have the documented authority to hand before we arrive.
- Allow time for the inventory. It is the part that protects you and the part people rush.

Common questions
- How long is the drive from Fort Lauderdale?
- 10–25 min each way, via A1A or Federal, before season traffic. We quote the honest figure rather than the optimistic one, because the schedule for the day depends on it.
- How far ahead should we book?
- A week is comfortable for most collections. May and October fill up across the whole of South Florida, and a building with a bookable loading dock will usually need more notice than a house.
- Does the property travel with anyone else's?
- No. Your load is not consolidated with another client's, and there are no other collections on the same run.
- Can we follow the vehicle?
- Yes. Clients regularly drive down behind us and watch the property go into the vault. Nobody has ever been told no.
- Do you charge by distance?
- Distance is part of it, along with the size of the load and how long the collection itself takes. You get a figure before the day, not after.
Nearby routes
20–35 min
Hollywood & Hallandale Beach
Twenty minutes from the vault, and largely older beachfront condominium with a long-settled population. A high share of our estate collections come from these two cities, because the buildings are full of apartments owned by the same family for thirty years.

20–35 min
Pompano Beach & Lighthouse Point
Canal-front houses with long-tenured owners and, in Pompano, a wave of newer oceanfront towers. The mix means we see both ends of the job here — decades-old unsorted collections, and relocation sales out of buildings finished last year.

20–40 min
Dania Beach, Davie & Plantation
Inland western Broward, reached on the 595 rather than the coast road, which means season traffic barely affects it. Larger lots and larger houses, so estate collections here are usually a full day rather than an afternoon.
