- How long is the drive from Sarasota & Longboat Key?

- How far ahead should we book?
- A week is comfortable for most collections. May and October fill up across the whole of South Florida, and a building with a bookable loading dock will usually need more notice than a house.
- Does the property travel with anyone else's?
- No. Your load is not consolidated with another client's, and there are no other collections on the same run.
- Can we follow the vehicle?
- Yes. Clients regularly drive down behind us and watch the property go into the vault. Nobody has ever been told no.
- Do you charge by distance?
- Distance is part of it, along with the size of the load and how long the collection itself takes. You get a figure before the day, not after.

Sanibel and Captiva are reached by a causeway that has been rebuilt since Ian, and the islands remain acutely storm-aware — a large share of the work here is people who lost something in 2022 and decided the next one would not catch them. Collections on the islands are timed around the causeway rather than the calendar.

Cross-state, and the longest routine run we make. Tampa clients are usually consolidating — bringing property south to sit with holdings already in the vault — rather than choosing us over something local, and we will say plainly that the drive only makes sense for that reason.

Alligator Alley is a hundred miles of two-lane divided highway through the Everglades with almost no services and long stretches without phone signal. We plan a Naples run to cross it in daylight with a full tank, because there is nowhere to stop with a loaded vehicle and we would not stop if there were.
